Surrounded by pine trees and veiled in clouds, you can understand why it reminded Brits so strongly of home. Scottish-type hills.
Cherapunji: - Wettest place in the world,  waterfalls all around.
Kyllang Rock: About 55 km west of Shillong, is an interesting
tourist spot. Rising out of the rolling grassy towns, it is an imposing dome of granite more than 700 feet high.
